Energised Environments supports the Scotch Whisky Association to deliver on its’ low carbon commitments

Energised Environments has recently updated the Scotch Whisky Association’s distillers’ renewable energy assessment tool, which can be found here on their website.

The project was supported by Resource Efficient Scotland and was launched at the SWA New Distillers Forum on 30th June, at which Jonny Clark, MD of Energised Environments presented.

Julie Hesketh-Laird, Director of Operational & Technical Affairs at the SWA said: “The tool aims to support distillers in Scotland achieve the SWA’s ambition to generate 20% of the industry’s energy from non-fossil fuel sources by 2020, increasing to 80% by 2050”.
