Craig is currently a graduate consultant with ITPEnergised, working with the air quality and noise team.
Craig graduated with a MChem (Hons) degree in Chemistry with Environmental and Sustainable Chemistry from The University of Edinburgh in 2018. Here, Craig gained an in-depth understanding about core chemistry and the applications and impacts of atmospheric chemistry on the environment.
During his fourth year, he spent a year abroad at The University of Alicante in Spain, participating in a full time environmental chemistry research project. This project focused on researching a potential new type of catalytic converter for diesel exhaust vehicles. The findings of the project have been published in the MDPI open access journal Catalysts, Volume 9, Issue 4, in April 2019.
Since starting at ITPEnergised, Craig has assisted in desk-based research and data gathering, completed construction phase dust risk assessments, used screening models and prepared graphics and reports for a wide range of air quality projects for residential, commercial and industrial developments. He is now gaining experience on noise impact assessment projects and has participated in noise monitoring site surveys.
