Paul has over 16 years’ experience as an Environmental Consultant, advising clients in a range of sectors including residential/commercial property, energy, engineering, local government as well as ports & harbours.
Paul’s technical specialism is EIA, having managed and delivered EIA’s for development clients across Scotland and the UK. Paul has worked closely with planners, architects and technical specialist to ensure planning and marine licence applications are supported by high quality environmental statements.
Paul has undertaken the role of Environmental Clerk of Works (ECoW) on projects such as Torry Quay realignment for Aberdeen Harbour. He is therefore able to provide pragmatic advice to clients, from the design stage through to on site construction compliance.
He has also significant experience advising on contaminated land and remediation as well as resource efficiency, the latter for organisations such as WRAP and Zero Waste Scotland.
Paul is a Chartered Environmentalist and full member of the Institute for Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA). In addition, Paul is an IEMA registered membership assessor, working as part of a panel to assess candidates for full membership and Chartered Environmentalist status.
