Corporate Environmental Health & Safety Due Diligence Capability Statement

ITPEnergised (ITPE) was formed when Energised Environments Limited acquired Bristol-based IT Power Consulting Limited. ITPE is a trusted advisor providing client-focused, commercially minded, energy and environmental consulting services to clients in onshore & offshore energy, transport & infrastructure, property and corporate sectors.

Our capabilities

The ITPE team has significant experience of supporting clients with their Environmental, Social and Health and Safety Due Diligence process as part of mergers and acquisitions (M&A). We are big enough to provide our clients with the depth and strength of knowledge and experience they need, but small enough to deliver the dedicated client-care and hands-on delivery that comes with a smaller consultancy.  Our reports identify material environmental risks and determine the level of those risks helping our clients ‘de-risk’ potential liabilities. We also recommend and prioritise suitable mitigation measures, and can provide estimates for the associated cost of mitigating the risk. We work closely with our clients to ensure all issues are clearly identified and appropriately addressed and we pride ourselves on providing detailed information in an easily understood and technically robust manner.

How can we help?

By understanding our clients’ expectations, financing and attitude to risk we are well-placed to identify and manage environmental, social and health and safety liabilities associated with specific sites or portfolios both in the UK and internationally at any stage during the transaction.

We have an excellent understanding of the material risks which may affect you as a result of the transaction. In-house experts are also available to add key support to projects where required.

Our team is experienced in working on both sides of the transaction table and with producing due diligence for both single and multiple asset portfolios.

We offer the following services:

  • Data room review
  • Provision of Red Flag Reports
  • Environmental Health and Safety Assessments (EHS)
  • Consideration of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) related issues
  • Responsible investment related assessments (Equator Principles, CDP, FTSE4Good, World Bank / IFC / EBRD / Green for Growth)
  • Negotiation support
  • Second opinion on existing reports
  • Post transaction advice and support
  • Pre divestment advice and preparation of vendor due diligence reports
