Energised Environments delivers training to the Green Investment Bank

onshore wind

Members of the Energised Environments team delivered a training seminar to Green Investment Bank staff in Edinburgh and London, on consenting and regulation of offshore wind and small-scale onshore renewables development.  We covered aspects such as the planning and consenting process, the regulatory regime, key stakeholders and their responsibilities, steps through the development process from feasibility to decommission, key investment risks, and typical timing of the various stages.  The session included interactive workshops and thought-provoking discussion amongst the Energised Environments and GIB teams.  The commission to deliver this seminar derives from our appointment in 2013 to the GIB framework consultancy panel.
