Annie Danskin elected to Institute of Air Quality Management committee

We are delighted to announce that ITPEnergised’s Head of Air Quality, Annie Danskin has been elected as an Institute of Air Quality Management (IAQM) Committee Member. Annie will bring a wealth of experience and her trademark dedication to the role and comments, “I am looking forward to attending my first committee meeting in April and contributing to the outstanding work of the IAQM and the Air Quality profession. I am keen to hear from Scotland-based members with an interest in helping me arrange some regional events in the future so please feel free to connect and message me directly.

Annie has just celebrated her 7 year work anniversary with ITPEnergised, and in total has 24 years of experience in the field of air quality consultancy, project management, training and research and in 2021 was awarded Chartered Environmentalist status.

The IAQM is the professional body for air quality professionals and acts as the voice of air quality in the UK by producing useful and timely guidance on matters affecting air quality professionals and by responding to Government consultations. Find out more on their website here.

Annie leads a team of expert air quality consultants who can help at all stages of a project from an initial constraints review to completion of complex air quality assessments for submission with planning and permitting applications. The team of trusted technical advisors also offer post‐submission support including preparation of management plans and annual reporting and provide monitoring and environmental management during construction. Key services delivered by the team include – Air quality impact assessment, atmospheric dispersion modelling, habitats assessment, odour monitoring, modelling and assessment, dust monitoring, modelling and assessment, ambient air quality monitoring, emissions inventories, stack emissions testing, environmental permitting, human health risk assessment, local air quality management, planning application support, assessment of accidental and jet releases, modelling of fires and flares, EU Emissions Trading Scheme compliance, GHG reporting and verification and expert witness.
