Stuart is a thoughtful and pragmatic trusted advisor and experienced team leader. He has a strong focus on sustainable development and decarbonisation as part of the wider energy transition agenda. Stuart is a process engineer by qualification and has over 20 years of experience in environmental consultancy, principally focused on impact assessment and control of atmospheric emissions and environmental acoustics. He has wider expertise in environmental permitting and compliance, and environmental and social impact assessment requirements in several areas including industrial and manufacturing, oil & gas and power (thermal and renewables). His experience spans the UK and internationally, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa.
